iPhone 8's 'final' design details from Foxconn allegedly leaked

NEW DELHI: Apple's hugely-anticipated iPhone 8 is still a good 5-6 months away from being launched. However, the smartphone's final design details seem to have been outed already.
An image allegedly showing the 'final' design of the iPhone 8 has surfaced online. Coming directly from Foxconn, the company that manufactures iPhones and numerous other popular gadgets for multiple technology companies, the image shows the schematics being followed in the iPhone 8's manufacturing process.
According to the leaked schematic, iPhone 8 will sport a 5.8-inch OLED display with 2.5D Glass protection, in line with previous rumours. It has also been mentioned that the handset's side buttons will not be mechanical, which means that users won't be able to press them. But they will feature haptic feedback. This is similar to how the iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus' Home button works.
Users will also get a haptic feedback while increasing or decreasing the volume or when they turn the handset on. The fingerprint sensor will be embedded in the iPhone 8's display itself.
The image further indicates the smartphone will come with minimal bezels on all four sides. Also seen is that 3D sensors will be placed on the top, alongside the speaker grille and the front-facing camera.
Since Apple, as usual, has not confirmed anything about the upcoming smartphone, the above details should be taken with a pinch of salt.
