YouTube Mobile Live streaming feature threshold reduced to 1,000 subscribers

NEW DELHI: Back in February, YouTube made its mobile live streaming feature available to users by rolling it out to channels having over 10,000 subscribers. Now, the video sharing platform has reduced that threshold all the way down to 1,000 subscribers.
According to Search Engine Journal website, the feature was rolled out over the past few days and was recently spotted on YouTube's Help page.
Under the 'Requirements for YouTube Live' section, the company says that "confirm that your channel is verified and that you have no live stream restrictions in the last 90 days. Note: For YouTube live on mobile, your channels must have over 1,000 subscribers."
The above note is applicable for both Android and iOS users.
